Millions face climate-related hunger, says Oxfam

Shifting seasons are destroying harvests and causing widespread hunger – but this is just one of the multiple climate change impacts taking their toll on the world’s poorest people – says a new report launched from Oxfam.
The report, Suffering the Science – Climate Change, People and Poverty, combinesscientific evidence on climate change with the experience from the communities where Oxfam works in almost 100 countries around the world, to reveal how the burden of climate change is already hitting poor people hard.
