Tourism businesses sign up for energy-efficiency programme

A pilot energy-efficiency programme for tourism businesses is well under way, with nine businesses from around the country undergoing detailed assessments of their energy use.
The Tourism Industry Association New Zealand has signed up the nine businesses for the Tourism Energy Efficiency Programme, and is working with the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority to carry out subsidised energy audits for each of them.
