No need for some soil additives, says report

New research shows that farmers don’t need to add humic and fulvic acid artificially because of a high level of organic matter in New Zealand soils, Balance Agric-Nutrients says.
While both can improve soil stability, water retention and plant health, adding them as chemical additives in New Zealand is unnecessary, Balance science manager Aaron Stafford says.
