Power plant gas emissions drop

The emissions intensity of electricity generation in New Zealand has dropped.
Latest figures from the Ministry of Economic Development show that, in the September quarter, the intensity of greenhouse gas emissions from electricity generation fell from 22kg carbon dioxide-equivilent per kilowatt hour of electricity generated to 16kgCO2e/KWH.
