Carbon low brings halt to forest planting

Forest planting – crucial to New Zealand’s emissions-reduction plans – has all but stopped in the face of record-low carbon prices.
Last week, Climate Change Minister Tim Groser said that the Emissions Trading Scheme was shifting New Zealand toward renewable energy and investment in forestry.
