ETS changing forestry, says minister

The Emissions Trading Scheme is shifting New Zealand towards renewable energy and investment in forestry, the Government says.
Speaking at the launch this morning of a new NZ Carbon Farming-owned carbon-sink forest in Marlborough, Climate Change Minister Tim Groser said that there were early signs that business was factoring the scheme into its long-term investment decisions.
