How high-tech can steer cars in right direction

Technology that measures and penalises or rewards us for how we use our cars could be used to cut New Zealand’s greenhouse gas emissions, says Business Council for Sustainable Development chief Peter Neilson.
The technology, which is readily available in modern cars, should appeal to businesses that have already adopted energy-efficiency because it could reduce their costs, he says.
