Smith runs out of water excuses, say Greens

With the release of the final report of the Land and Water Forum, the minister for the environment has now run out of excuses for delaying and pulling the teeth from rules to clean up our rivers and lakes, the Green Party says.


"The release of the final report by the Land and Water Forum  once again makes the point that the forum expects the National Policy Statement on Freshwater Management to be enacted ASAP and without having its teeth pulled by Minister for the Environment Nick Smith,” said Green Party Co-leader Russel Norman.
