Science key to the future, says Gluckman

New Zealand must globalise its science to strengthen its economy and protect its social and environmental development, says the Prime Minister's Chief Science Adviser, Sir Peter Gluckman.
Speaking at the 2011 conference of the Agricultural Greenhouse Gas Research Centre in Palmerston North this week, Sir Peter said that New Zealand has scientific collaborations with nearly 100 countries, and that such connections build bonds, create opportunities for other sectors of the economy and in turn create employment and wellbeing.
