Pressure builds to change ETS obligation rule

Some companies are buying carbon credits to offset the cost of carbon in fuel and energy as pressure builds to change the rules over who is responsible under the Emissions Trading Scheme for accounting for carbon.
One company has confirmed that it is, in effect, acting as a point of obligation despite the rules, and Carbon News understands that others are adopting similar strategies.
