Fruit producers lead way in carbon footprinting

Fruit producers are world leaders in their sector when it comes to carbon footprint measuring, says Pipfruit New Zealand’s chief executive officer Peter Beaven.
Beaven told Carbon News that a carbon footprint modelling study involving 60 New Zealand pipfruit orchards that was released at the association’s conference on Wednesday is well ahead of anything that producers in other countries are doing.
