US expert: No technical barrier to 20% wind power goal in NZ

Spread out the wind farms .. and generate 20%
There are no fundamental technical barriers to the integration of 20% wind energy into the electrical system in New Zealand, according to a visiting US wind energy expert.
The Executive Director of the US-based Utility Wind Integration Group, Cahrlie Smith, told the NZ Wind Energy Conference in Wellington yesterday the relaibility of the electricity system can be enhanced by wind farms.
