You must adapt, minister tells farmers

Agriculture Minister David Carter says that New Zealand farmers should be starting to adapt their farm management to deal with the impacts of climate change – and be looking for possible benefits to exploit.
Carter – who has a 350ha sheep and beef farm on Banks Peninsula – says that while the Government is working to deal with the impacts of climate change, individual farmers will have to recognise and cope with changing conditions.
