Genome work will become "milestone" in animal science
Breakthrough research into the cattle genetics could lead to the breeding of cattle that produces less methane.
In research released today, a team of international scientists, including New Zealanders, has annotated the cow genome. Their findings are published in the latest issue of Science magazine.
