Invasive jatropha might have dodged NZ security net

The potentially invasive biofuel crop Jatropha curcas may have slipped through New Zealand’s biosecurity defences.
Carbon News understands that MAF Biosecurity New Zealand has not done a risk assessment of the plant, whose nuts are used to make biofuel, despite the fact that it is already a problem in India, Brazil, Fiji and Australia.
