Confused forest owners keep planting plans on hold

The Government’s announcement that it will not now suspend the emissions trading scheme will not get forest owners planting again, they say.
A $125 million international investment in New Zealand forests was scrapped and foresters said they were cancelling planting plans after the Government announced last month that, as part of its confidence and supply agreement with the Act Party, it would suspend the ETS pending a wide-ranging review.
