Representatives from the forestry industry will finally have an opportunity to put their concerns over delays to the emissions trading scheme to the new Minister for Climate Change Issues, Nick Smith, in person this week.


The New Zealand Forest Owners' Association has been seeking a meeting with the minister since the post-election deal announced by National and ACT that has led to a review of the emissions trading scheme and the science behind climate change itself.
