Foresters fear trading advice is a waste of time

The forestry industry fears that the wrong kind of advice is stepping in to fill the vacuum left by the new government as forest owners struggle to come to terms with what New Zealand’s potential emissions trading turn-around might mean.
The carbon trading company Environmental Intermediaries & Trading Group is calling for the carbon industry to establish a code of practice in the wake of what it describes as time-wasting advice given to forest owners by some carbon traders.
