Genesis says it will slash emissions

THE OPERATOR of the Huntly coal-and-gas-fired power station says it will cut greenhouse gas emissions in line with the Paris Agreement.
Genesis Energy, the country’s largest energy company, is promising to reduce emissions by at least 1.2 million tonnes a year over the next five years by switching more of its generation to renewables.
