Forest owners: Problems have not gone away

The treatment of pre-1990 forests under the emissions trading scheme will emerge again as a major issue, warns the New Zealand Forest Owners’ Association.
Chief executive David Rhodes told Carbon News that problem of credit allocations for forests planted before 1990 hasn’t gone away, despite the fact that the ETS bill has now been passed.
