Allowing land-owners to transfer forestry blocks to marginal land now would shoot New Zealand’s long-term international interests in the foot, says Climate Change Minister David Parker
Parker told Carbon News that while he has some sympathy for the plight of landowners, it would be a mistake for New Zealand to move on allowing offset planting before the rest of the world did.
