We've done the hard yards, say frustrated farmers

A new non-binding emissions reduction target for agriculture shows there is little official understanding of hard work farmers have already done to reduce their emissions, says Federated Farmers.
Under the amendment to the emissions trading scheme, negotiated as part of minor-party support for the ETS bill, agriculture will have a non-binding target for reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by 300,000 tonnes CO2 equivalent by 2013.
