Air NZ joins space agency in climate watch

AIR NEW ZEALAND is working with the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration to monitor climate change in New Zealand.
Devices fitted to aeroplanes operating on flights around the country will collect data on soil moisture, droughts, floods, coastline erosion and wind speeds and feed it into Nasa’s Cyclone Global Navigation Satellite System.
