RISING CARBON prices and competition will drive New Zealand towards an electricity system based almost entirely on renewables, the country’s largest generator is predicting.
Meridian Energy is the first company in the country to release details of its carbon exposure, using guidelines drawn up by the Task Force on Climate-Related Disclosures.
