Scientists claim methane breakthrough

SCIENTISTS are claiming a breakthrough in the quest to cut methane emissions from animals.
Agricultural methane emissions make up more than 40 per cent of New Zealand’s total greenhouse gas emissions, and the Government has said it wants them cut by 10 per cent by 2030 and by up to 47 per cent by 2050.
