Forestry offsetting gains "overwhelming" support

The Flexible Land Use Alliance (FLUA) says it now has "overwhelming" support for a foresty offset scheme in both Parliament and the finance and expenditure select committee now that the National Party has got in behind it.
Enterprises, Landcorp, the NZ Forest Owners Association, PF Olsen and Wairakei Pastoral, wants a forestry offset scheme as part compensation for
pre-1990 forests included in the emissions trading scheme (ETS) presently before Parliament.
