A forester is warning landowners to beware of “hucksters” pushing get-rich-quick schemes based on carbon trading.
Steve Wilton, managing director of Forest Enterprises, which has radiata plantations in Wairarapa and Hawke's Bay, says that euphoria over potential carbon profits from forests is premature.
