The ValueADD Company has launched an online interactive calculator to determine carbon liabilities for de-foresting pre-1990 land. Some of the liabilities are significant.
Recently published draft Regulations spell out exactly what the liability will be in terms of CO2 emissions for deforesting pre-1990 planted land. ValueADD describes the liability as considerable. Now it can be quickly calculated.
