Government eyes land-use changes to cut emissions

THE GOVERNMENT is looking at changing some current land uses – including forestry and farming – to cut New Zealand’s greenhouse gas emissions.
It’s also appears to be worried that concern about climate change, and rising carbon prices, could cause an international backlash against New Zealand’s agricultural exports.
