Plea to lighten up on the car industry

Cars are being unfairly picked on in the debate over greenhouse-gas emissions, says a leading player in the luxury car market.
Motorcorp Distributors’ managing director Wallace Dumpster, whose company is the New Zealand distributor of Jaguars and who is also president of the Motor Industry Association, told Carbon News that cars produce far fewer emissions than the farming sector does.
