Locally owned Air NZ skips past local world leading algae biofuel
New Zealand aviation biofuel pioneer Aquaflow says it would have hoped Air New Zealand would look onshore rather than opting for an exotic crop as the basis for its 2013 biofuel use target.
“One would always hope so,” says Barrie Leay, chairman of Aquaflow Bionomic Corporation. “We’re all taxpayers and we own the company.”
