LEDs lighting the way on our streets

New Zealand is switching to LED lighting.

Ten per cent of urban streets are now lit with LED lights (up from 4 per cent last year), and supermarket sales of LED bulbs have climbed from 1600 in 2012, to more than 250,000 last year, says Energy Minister Simon Bridges.
