Green Party pledges to shut Huntly, hobble coal industry

The Green Party is threatening to end thermal coal exports and close the Huntly coal-fired power stations.
In other shock policy announcements yesterday, the Green Party said it would try making mining companies pay a price for coal seam methane when the emissions trading bill comes back to the House, and ban new mines.
