Europe shambles could boost value of NZ credits

The value of New Zealand Kyoto credits could rise on the back of a European scandal over recycled CERs.
The French and Hungarian carbon exchanges, BlueNext and Nord Pool, suspended trading yesterday amid panic among investors that they had bought dud credits, and the European Commission has suspended the surrender of EUAs and CERs into its central carbon registry.
