Thermal ban ‘will kill oil exploration’ – Todd

Oil exploration off the Taranaki coast will be killed by the Government’s proposed 10-year ban on new thermal power stations, the chief executive of Todd Energy, Richard Tweedie, told Carbon News.
The ban is part of the Climate Change (Emissions Trading and Renewable Preference) Bill on which Parliament’s Finance and Expenditure select committee is presently hearing submissions.
