Better timing would help, says airport company

Christchurch International Airport says that timing is crucial in managing the competing demands of new infrastructure projects and emissions reduction.
Rhys Boswell, general manager planning and environment for Christchurch International Airport Ltd, told Carbon News that some of the challenges involved in the company’s current integrated terminal project could have been avoided if the timing of that project and the airport company’s decision to participate in carboNZero’s programme had been better aligned.
