Sentimental baby-boomers drive up insurance

Baby-boomers’ desire to live by the beach despite the threatened impact of climate change is pushing up insurance premiums.
At issue is the desire by ageing and retiring baby boomers to site themselves by the seashore at a time of rising sea levels, on exposed hills at a time of accelerating climate patterns, and riverside at a time when flood plains are seen as increasingly vulnerable.
