Carbon credit sharing fails to impress wood processors

Sharing carbon credits around is not enough of a remedy for wood processors bracing themselves for the introduction of an emissions trading scheme.
That’s the view of the Wood Processors' Association, which says that changes to the ETS negotiated by the Green Party, allowing carbon credits to be allocated to smaller emitters, will not help those in the sector that are most trade-exposed, such as pulp mills and MDF plants.
