Media too soft on contrarians, says study

JOURNALISTS should give less space to climate contrarians, and scientists should assert their authority in the face of claims that climate-change science isn’t settled, researchers say.
A paper published in Nature Communications today says contrarians are getting slightly more coverage in the mainstream media than are climate scientists, and dominate “other” media.
