Reserve Bank joins Pacific climate initiative

NEW ZEALAND'S Reserve Bank is joining central banks across the Pacific in preparing for the impacts of climate change on the region’s monetary systems.
Governors from the central banks of New Zealand, Australia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Timor-Leste, Samoa, Tonga, Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands met in Auckland last week to discuss ways to promote prosperity across the Pacific.
