Government releases new forestry rules

THE GOVERNMENT has released further details of changes to the Emissions Trading Scheme’s forestry rules.
Last week, it announced permanent forests would become a special category under the scheme, along with changes to rules dealing with land with multiple owners, tree-weeds and offsetting of harvesting pre-1990 forests.
