BUSINESSES will soon be able to price and trade carbon without the help of governments by using blockchain technology, says a social enterprise about to launch a new carbon platform.
Frustrated with Australia’s political stalemate over carbon pricing, Emmi Foundation has built a platform that lets businesses take matters into their own hands - and it expects to have two major companies testing the system within weeks.
