Beware of cherry-picking, study tells businesses

COMPANIES might be cherry-picking sustainability measures that make them look good, with greenhouse gas emissions one of the least-reported factors.

A new international study says that huge variation in what is reported makes meaningful comparisons between them impossible, prompting calls for minimum requirements for sustainability reporting in line with standards for financial reporting.
