Climatecoin lines up the carbon markets

BLOCKCHAIN – the technology developed by cryptocurrency pioneer Bitcoin to knock financial intermediaries out of transactions – has the carbon markets in its sights.
Climatecoin, a token based on the cryptocurrency Ethereum specifically aimed at raising investment for climate-friendly businesses, goes on presale on October 23 – and it will include a carbon-trading operation.
