Federated Farmers: We did not fund secret report

Federated Farmers is strongly denying rumours that it is one of the secret funders of last month's NZIER report which predicts that the emissions trading scheme will cost New Zealand 22,000 jobs and billions of dollars.
Wellington sources have told Carbon News that Federated Farmers foresaw that the Greens would intervene forcibly to ensure that the farming sector was an early ETS entrant, rather than the last one in, and got in first with a well-publicised impact report from NZIER.
