Forum heads to the select committee

A high-powered group of business and community leaders who back an emissions trading scheme will appear before the finance and expenditure select committee today to answer questions from MPs.
The 34-member Leadership Forum on Climate Change, which includes some of New Zealand’s most powerful leaders from the business, environmental, farming, union, Maori and public sectors and is headed by Warehouse founder Stephen Tindall, has been called by the committee to give expert comment on the implications of the climate change bill and the emissions trading scheme.
