Note NZ: EU achieves economic growth while holding emissions levels

In a result which could send a heartening signal to New Zealand's ETS backers, a new report from the European Union shows it has been able to achieve economic growth while restraining emissions.
There was an 0.68% rise in emissions in 2007 from businesses in the European Unions ETS, while the economy grew 2.8%..
