The UK carbon label threat and opportunity: 70% of shoppers notice it

Seven out of 10 consumers in the UK say new carbon labels on food are making them more aware of the environmental impact of the products and services they are buying.
The new labels, developed by the British Institute of Standards and the UK Carbon Trust are now being rolled out in wider trials. The new standard's wider adoption, expected from July, is expected to present a major threat or opportunity to new Zewaland exporters.
