Let’s cool it, says Key, and sends ETS into a spin

The National Party has kicked the emissions trading scheme into touch, saying it won’t support the bill in its present form and wants to delay passing it until after the election.
The not-unexpected move means that the Government needs the support of at least two minor parties, such as the Greens and the Maori Party, or New Zealand First and United Future, to get the scheme into law before the election.
