We are seeing a classic Mexican standoff in the spot NZU market -100K on the offer at $3.10, facing similar bids at $3.05. OMFinancial reports:
We’d pay that offer if we were an emitter or speculator; there is very good support at $3 and, as we have stated many times, carbon will be higher under either government; the days of $3 or below carbon prices have come to an end, in our opinion.
